Job Summary

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Cameroon, is seeking an Accountant to manage financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and audit support. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong financial knowledge, and fluency in Arabic with good French skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Manage financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
• Handle tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
• Fluent in Arabic with a good command of French.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Sage accounting software is a plus.
• Previous experience in Africa is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
