Qualification/Work Experience :

  • Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree, with preference for an advanced degree in Health Informatics or any related analytical discipline. • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in fast paced, results-driven environment. • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools and software. • Solid background in health data analytics and visualization. • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication (written & verbal) skills, including ability to develop and present presentations and program documents. • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. • Ability to absorb and synthesize broad range of information. • Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • High proficiency in the use of PowerPoint and Word • A structured and assured oral communication style in English and French. Job Description:

  • Clinton Health Access Initiative, (CHAI) Cameroon is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with strong problem solving and analytical skills for the Analyst position. The successful candidate should have excellent analytical skills, function independently, be self-motivated, can thrive in challenging environments and have a strong commitment to excellence. The Analyst will support efforts to improve immunization coverage, which has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Cameroon. They will provide support to analyze trends in coverage, including trends at National and district level to assess the continuous impact of the pandemic on immunization. The candidate will also support the development and use of tools to track the impact of COVID-19 on Routine Immunization and leverage this to support the planning and implementation of recovery activities. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, be flexible and have a strong commitment to work excellence. We are keen to hear from people with the above attributes. Responsibilities • Support the development and use of tools to track the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Routine Immunization. • Support the continuous analysis of trends in immunization coverage including district and facility level analysis to assess continued impact of COVID-19 pandemic on coverage and identify potential areas for catchup. • Support the development and implementation of policies and guidelines for catching up on accrued VPD vulnerabilities caused by effects of COVID-19 pandemic on Routine Immunization. • Support the EPI in consolidating and analyzing various data sources including, coverage and demographic data to identify disparities in coverage at sub-national level and where missed communities are likely to be found. • Develop data dashboards and coordinate data review mechanisms, as needed. • Support with preparing programmatic reports and other work-related products such as case studies, manuscripts, lessons learnt etc. • Perform other duties that may be assigned by Program Manager.
