The Tax Legal Manager implements the organization’s tax and legal strategy on a country level in order to:

Optimize the amount of tax the company pays and ensure it complies with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations.
Consult with the Regional Head of Tax to ensure alignment on the organization’s tax strategy and its implementation on a country level.
Ensure that the company complies with all local legal requirement.
Follow-up BC housekeeping.
Legal support in various fields of law in accordance with all the departments and operational services and also follow-up litigations with third parties

Direct a variety of tax-related activities in accordance with the overall tax strategy to ensure that the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives. These activities may include: tax planning; research; compliance; tax submissions, reporting and filings; auditing; and communicating with external tax agencies.
Evaluate the organization’s current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions to ensure that they comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
Advise senior management on tax matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.
Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external consultants and advisors (for example tax advisors) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the tax activity to ensure that the organization’s tax strategy is implemented accurately and consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
Coach and provide instructions to lower-level professional such as the Tax Analyst.

Manage insurance Contract and Claims,
Manage pre-litigation and litigation,
Hold periodical monitoring of legal activities,
Implement and manage the different management tools of the Legal Department,
Legal intelligence (law and documentation),
Check all acts with legal implication,
Manage contract for the various activities of the company (verification, writing, validation, alerts and renewal).
